Frankly, Sheryl and Harvey White did quite a lot of work too paying attention to every detail. Right down to the caviar on toast, the faux aka candy cigarettes, and those sexy Bond Girls sprinkled about. "00" Agents and Bond gals progressed from the 'Casino Royale' reception where Giuseppe's Fine Catering did the perfect drinks and bite sized savory appetizers, to dinner under the stars in the 'Diamonds Are Forever' Dining Room. Among the mix were Sharon and Sami Ladeki, Joan Jacobs looking particularly sleek with husband Irwin Jacobs, Nancy and Matt Browar (they were last year's Chairs), Anne Foman and Joe Ullola, Mary Keough Lyman and Frank Alessio, Valerie and Harry Cooper, Olivia and Peter Farrell, Rocio and Mike Flynn, Patsy and David Marino (they were at the real Monte Carlo earlier this Summer), Stacy and Paul Jacobs, Marleigh and Alan Gleicher, Karen Fox and Harvey Ruben, Viviana and Charles Polinsky, and Lynda Forsha with MCASD's David C. Copley Director and CEO, Hugh Davies. Hugh had these remarks. "I'd say Bond and Sheryl brought unmatched elegance in silver, gray and diamonds forever to a graciously lively, getting wild party. The dining room was simply the best yet thanks to amazing lighting of everyone and everything including the newly trimmed palms in the background sculpture garden. Amazing big band had the dance floor filled and guests hopping after a scrumptious dinner. The bar just got higher and Monte Carlo more fun. Not to mention that when all the counting's done Sheryl and Harvey possibly set a new record for bringing in the most money to support our Education and Exhibitions Programs." The Buzz!! It was a bit of razzle dazzle as the dinner dance at the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club featured the Byron String Quartet. One member's musical history date back to playing with Frank Sinatra, and with that music background, the quartet had dinner guests non-stop on the dance floor..... Hopefully they will be back next year!

* Margo Schwab, more formally known as Margaret E. Schwab, has produced, written, interviewed and photographed for various media organizations since 1989. Schwab attended Holton Arms School, La Jolla Country Day School and La Jolla High School. Schwab has a B.A. from Scripps College, spent a business internship with S.A.I.C., Science Applications International Corporation, and earned a Masters of Business degree, M.B.A., from the University of San Diego by way of Claremont Graduate School . Schwab additionally took college courses from Harvard University, and Syracuse University. Schwab volunteers for numerous charity organizations. She also continues to support animal organizations and the prevention of people and animal abuse. Schwab is the editor of The Social Diary.
