MCASD Goes Beachside to Celebrate Patrons and Viva La Revolucion Artists
              (followed by The Buzz!!)
July 18th, 2010 the sun came out and so did the artists featured at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego's downtown location. It was a brunch at the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club where the exhibition's artists mixed with museum trustees and other important museum VIP's.
Among the mix were Sheila Potiker, Joan and Irwin Jacobs, Barbara and Charles Arledge, Terri and David Bourne, Faye Russell, Iris and Matthew Strauss, Barbara Bloom, Gail and George Knox, Patsy and Daivd Marino, Robin Parsky, Elizabeth and Mason Phelps, Bob Caplan and Dr. Carol Randolph, Lee Clark and Jerry Pikolysky, Monica and Dr. Charles Cochrane, Jeanne Jones and Don Breitenberg, Hugh Davies, he's the David C. Copley Director for the MCASD, Hugh's wife Lynda Forsha, and Murray Gribin and Mary Keough Lyman.
Murray and Mary were the terrific Chairs of the event.
It was a real treat to mix with the artists who were the hit of hits the night before at the opening of Viva La Revolucion.... in fact 2,000 plus attendees, a record, came to view their incredible art. Among the artists attending the brunch were Stephan Doitschinoff, Dzine, JR, Roberto Lange, Os Gemeos, and Vhils. Charming, talented... yes very charming!
p.s. - The Viva La Revolucion exhibition will continue through 1-2-2011 with many more fun events. Meanwhile the Here Not There exhibit at the MCASD location in La Jolla continues through 9-19-2010. Visit www.mcasd.org for details of these exhibits and the upcoming Monte Carlo Gala on September 25th, 2010.
