It was September 25th, 2010, and as the sun set.... all things turned Bond, as in very James Bond at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego in La Jolla.
Think glamour, there were Aston Martins parked curbside, martinis, Bond Girls galore, and quite a few dazzlers.
Chair Sheryl White wore a Douglas Hannant gown called the Graffiti Gown. It was inspired by Basquiat, and Sheryl as always, was quite inspiring to husband and Co-Chair Harvey White who looked quite 'smart' as they say in England.
More there in elegant Monte Carlo theme attire were Lee Clark in a simple yet sophisticated Donna Karan gown, Jennifer Greenfield in Vionnet, Karen Cohn in a sparkling Naeem Khan, Salem Ciuffa in a one shouldered Phillip Lim, Tanya Brandes in the ultimate gold themed Versace Atelier beaded gown, Rebekah Sager in a locally designed dress by Goga, Miriam Smotrich in Yigal Azrouel, Colette Royston in a Roland Nivelais, and Valerie Cooper in a beautifully draped Oscar de la Renta.
Please enjoy the photos.

The Buzz!!
The Old Globe has a wonderful Neil Simon play Broadway Bound now playing. At the kind invite of Valerie and Harry Cooper, we joined in the fun September 24th, 2010 starting with cocktails, a buffet dinner by the Hyatt La Jolla, followed by a wonderful performance of Broadway Bound. Some very witty lines with superb actors make this play another Globe must.
P.S. - Among the regulars there were Sandy Redman, Gigi and Ed Cramer, Martha and George Gafford, and Pam and Hal Fuson.
P.S.S. - Don't miss Brighton Beach Memoirs (also a Neil Simon play) too which plays in rotation with Broadway Bound!!
