The San Diego Social Diary hosted some special girlfriends for lunch on the beach at the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club. To keep things more intime, festivities were held on two different days.

On the first day June 9th, 2011, Margo Schwab and Kima of San Diego's Social Diary (a division of The Social Diary), were joined by Evva Fenison, Patty Elkus, Doreen Roohanipur, Sarah Nicole Dolgen, Bonnie Saldivar-Jones, and Abeer Hage.

Athanasia Ampelas of Eclat Catering provided the yummy eats including these appetizers: White Wine & Truffle Cream Mini Caprese Salads, Greek Dolmades, and Mini Peppers filled with Goat Cheese (loved these!).

The main course was Eclat Specialty Salad with Baby Greens & Fresh Herbs, Pearl Tomatoes, Persian Cucumbers, Sweet Peppers, Feta Cheese, Strawberry and Roasted Almond Slices. Eclat Chicken Souvlaki with Organic Chicken skewers with secret Greek spices were added, all topped by a light Eclat Balsamic dressing.

Desserts were bite sized homemade Baklava.... refreshingly light and not too sweet, and Eclat Petit Fours with a hint of raspberry and dipped in chocolate.

The table settings for both days were 'Out of Africa' inspired.

The second day, June 10th, 2011, same menu (because it's so good) and different list of attendees. The guests were May Zawaideh, Natasha Reiss, Jennifer Greenfield, Lynda Kerr, and Valerie Cooper.

Most met someone knew aside from seeing longtime friends. All are great supporters of The Social Diary for which we thank them.

Some highlights, Lynda Kerr, the very sexy kitten that she is, exhibiting phenomenal skill 'pole' dancing, (Lynda also made me the fabulous 'birthday' head-dress. A tradition now among lucky birthday gals). Intriguing 'girl talk,'Abeer Hage wore Manolo Blahnik alligator boots in the sand, and May Zawaideh wore Chanel flats. Because as May said it....she does not do sand!

Fun times for all!

Special thanks to our delivery man.... Social Diary's Scott Johnston, who with broken foot brought the food and champagne, and to the terrific La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club 'Beach Crew' who helped make the parties perfect!

By the way, we thanked the Beach Crew with a delivery of 8 pizzas from Extreme Pizza and Kevin Smith in La Jolla.....thank you to the delivery guy Tyler too!
