St. Germaine's Silver Tea

(followed by the Check Recipient Luncheon Photos earlier this year)

The 27th Annual Silver Tea benefiting St. Germaine's Children's Charities was held at the art filled home of Michelle and Bell Lerach.... That's home aka mansion, set cliff side on nearly 6 acres in La Jolla. It's also the on the site of the former and famed Gagosian mansion. The current two level home was built in the early 1990s by Los Angeles architect Ray Zukaitis. It took three years to plan and three years to build.

Co-Chairs Shay Stephens and Heather Ravenscroft

A spectacular setting as 400 plus guests came and enjoyed tea sandwiches of egg salad with asparagus, cucumber sandwiches, cookies and mini dessert bars, and tea of course.

All food items were homemade by St. Germaine members. Tea and coffee was poured by members too. St. Germaine is after all an all-volunteer organization that raises monies for child abuse prevention programs.

Among those there enjoying the tea were Co-chairs Shay Stephens and Heather Ravenscroft, Deborah Cys, Kathryn Murphy, St. Germaine President Sheila Scaramella, Sally Irwin, Shannon Turner, Marilee Warfield, Sarah Burton, Susan Oliver, Terri Kelly, Claudia Johnson, Jeanne Larson, Patty Elkus, May Zawaideh, Gigi Cramer, John Hawkins, Karen and Dale Miller, Karen poured tea and Dale sold opportunity drawings (he does this every year in his tuxedo best!), Cristull Hasson,

Over 27 years. St. Germaine Children’s Charity has awarded almost $3 million in grants and over $1.4 million for in-kind gifts.

This special guy came in as a stray and has won over the hearts of countless staff members and volunteers.  He is truly a precious and loving soul.  He will do well in a variety of homes, but due to his size, a home with children over 12 years and older is recommended.
