Proceeding to the multi-level Conservatory, a bar was on hand or rather, lots of hands were available to tend to drinks.

Upon entering the main room, there were Grimm Reminders' ... Vignettes were relived through oversized paintings, and detailed decorations.... yes that was Hansel and Gretel's Gingerbread and Candy seen inside one clear table top....

The MASS Ensemble (that's Music, Architecture, Sight and Sound) performed, blending their visual art with music for a kinetic performance as guests dined on such Waters Fine Catering dishes as 'Sleeping Beauty,' heart shaped ravioli in heart shapes, filled with squash, with a saffron 'caviar' sauce and accented by a 23 Karat Painted Gold Needle....

Looking way up towards the ceiling, a 200 foot Earth Harp, the world's largest string instrument spanned the entire space. A time of revelry.... a time where no one could foresee what would happen next....

* Margo Schwab, more formally known as Margaret E. Schwab, has produced, written, interviewed and photographed for various media organizations since 1989. Schwab attended Holton Arms School, La Jolla Country Day School and La Jolla High School. Schwab has a B.A. from Scripps College, spent a business internship with S.A.I.C., Science Applications International Corporation, and earned a Masters of Business degree, M.B.A., from the University of San Diego by way of Claremont Graduate School . Schwab additionally took college courses from Harvard University, and Syracuse University. Schwab volunteers for numerous charity organizations. She also continues to support animal organizations and the prevention of people and animal abuse. Schwab is the editor of The Social Diary.
