Quesadilla
a la Francaise
the
perfect Summer Recipe to wow your friends
*enjoyed
by a number of margomargo*clickers *
you
need brie cheese, green grapes, flour tortillas,
butter
*slice
thinly the brie cheese and let it stand out
to room temperature
*
slice grapes in thirds
*
heat a large flat skillet to medium, melt a
dab of butter or olive oil
*place
tortilla on with thinly sliced slivers of brie
cheese on top, place large lid over for 45 seconds
to help melt the cheese, then take lid off
**
as soon as the cheese has melted and tortilla
is lightly brown on bottom * remove from heat
* sprinkle sliced grapes on top
**
fold tortilla in half and serve warm with (if
you are 21 or over) a chilled glass of Chardonnay
or Sauvignon Blanc is good company to this dish
* otherwise apple juice or milk for the under
21 crowd or non-drinkers
**
this is a great dinner finalized with a slice
of chocolate pound cake, sprinkled raspberries
and a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream for dessert!!
