Crime Stoppers
15th Annual Golf Fundraiser at La Costa
On Monday, July 31st San Diego
County Crime Stoppers will host its 15th Annual Golf Tournament
at La Costa Resort & Spa. Crime Stoppers Board Member,
Steve Bonker, describes the event as, "A
great chance to play one of San Diego's finest courses and support
an important charity at the same time."
The tournament, sponsored by the San Diego County Toyota Dealers,
is an 18 hole "Shamble." Taylormade Clubs will be prizes
for the Best Foursome, Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin Contests.
There will be a Hole-in-One contest with a new Toyota 4-Runner
as a prize.
Following the tournament, Crime Stoppers will host a reception
featuring a live auction. Non-golfers are welcome to attend the
reception. Auction items include: A San Diego Padres Package with
tickets, a night stay at the Omni San Diego and a gift certificate
to McCormick & Schmick; two Romantic Coronado Evenings with
a night stay at the Hotel del Coronado and Loews Coronado Bay
Resort & Spa; a set of Callaway Clubs; a night and round of
golf at La Costa & much more!
A foursome at the tournament is $1,000, individuals players
are $250 and a tee sponsorship is $250. A few foursome spots are
