The Unofficial 'FOG' aka 'Friends of Globe' Dinner More Social Diary Event Coverage ....HOME
Social Diary's Margo Schwab, Scott Johnston and Kima hosted a fun little dinner party October 24th, 2011 for the unofficial 'Friends of Globe. That's friends of the Globe Theatre whose October 28th event Rocky Horror Costume Bash provided the inspiration. Held at Cafe Milano in La Jolla, guests arrived to a relaxed evening with an admonition to come casual or theatrical. And come they did. Attending this evening were Abeer Hage and her daughter Tina Hage, Valerie and Harry Cooper, Nasia Ampelas of Eclat Catering, Hanaa Hensersky, and Pete Cooper and Norman Blachford. Valerie Cooper and Pete Cooper, no blood relation by the way, were related by a common purpose. They were both the Co-Chairs of the Rocky Horror Costume Bash. Guests were seated at a square table with a center piece of a lit skull, and a very realistic 'rat' purse from Bowers Jewelers. Veuve Clicquot, a super Super Tuscan, a little bruschetta, and a fabulous dinner by Cafe Milano;s Pasquale and Sandra were served up. Homemade everything from pastas as well as lobster and more. Gelatos finished up the evening. A lot of laughter at dinner. And a lot of excitement about the Globe's event, and the very acclaimed Rocky Horror Show ..... Hope it comes back next year so we can do it again! Tremendous thanks to Sandra and Pasquale for making it a Cafe Milano perfect evening!
