Veronica's Diary

11-28-2005 - Did you know that I am pregnant? Love and forever indebted to you, Veronica Baker

11-29-2005 - Oh, thank you, I know it is crazy!! I am three months along, today I am going
to meet my doctor. In about 6 more weeks we will get to find out if it is a boy
or a girl. Big hug and I will keep you posted. We are just renting right now, need to find a good agent because our lease is up at the end of May and I want to be in a house (that we own) before that because the baby is due June 2nd.

11-29-2005 - I just got make from my doctor's and she said that June 1st is my due date!!
We will let you know the next time we are down and if you guys come up this way, dinner would be great. love VB

12-12-2005 - Thanks I was glad you both were there.(editor's note - Veronica is referring to her birthday party) I know Scott was happy too. Big hug and talk to you soon. VB

1-29-2006 - We are having a boy!! Talk to you soon. Veronica

1-30-2006 - Since we found out, we have had so much fun! Scotty has been so
great. After we found out, that next day he came home early so we could go shopping for boy stuff. We got so much cute stuff, we couldn't believe how much surf stuff there was! It was dangerous--our own little surfer/ golfer. I am going to New York on Friday. Love Veronica

1-30-2006 - So stoked to hear you are back in the water. Yeah, just take it slow, baby steps, I bet it feels so good. I am jealous. I can't wait. We'll have to come down to the Shores with the baby and go for a surf. Maybe even get Scott to catch a few. I have a picture of me just a few months old sitting on a Cannon surfboard at the Shores (it seems like that ran in one of the articles for the La
Jolla Light?) We'll have to get a similar one of Jack. It would be cool to mention Roxy and their web site and [714]'s especially because I am now working there as Fashion Editor. My column in called Essentials...what you need. It has been fun and keeping me busy, something different you know? - Veronica Kay Baker

1-30-2006 - Wow. I am excited. I will go through my pics and see if I have anything that
will work. You know after all the photos I have taken you would think I would have a decent, stock head shot!!
I just shot with Art Brewer for a story for Surfer. He is going to email some of those to take a look at on Thursday. I will let you know if one of those could work. Lots of love, VB

2-15-2006 (Editor's note - regarding Valentine's Day) I had such a good one. Scott let me open my
present the night before. He told me to put it back in the box and so I could open it again on Valentine's but I didn't want to take it off. It is a ring, so precious and sweet. Yesterday was the best Valentine's to date. I went for a long walk, cleaned the house, and then went and picked up the few little things that I gotten for him. I tried to make everything look cute, cupcakes and cookies, candies and balloons. Then he came home and I made him dinner. I felt like I needed to get him something more because of what he had gotten me ...Anyway, sorry for all that, just wanted to share. Love, Veronica Baker.
