La Jolla Playhouse opened its very anticipated production of Jesus Christ Superstar November 20th, 2011. Outside, the weather was pouring rain, but inside the pre-play reception was buzzing with a who's who crowd.

Among the mix were Ellen and David Dolgen, Colette and Ivor Royston, David Copley, Andrew Shelton, Martha Dennis and her son Evan, Hanaa Hensersky, Margaret McBride, Barbara and Karl ZoBell, Miriam and David Smotrich, Claudia and James Munak, Gail and Ralph Bryan, and Toni and John Bloomberg.

This ground-breaking rock opera is directed by Playhouse Director Emeritus and Stratford Shakespeare Festival Artistic Director Des McAnuff. The Des McAnuff.

The singing was superb and so is the buzz for this production that is already set to go to Broadway.

Schwab attended Holton Arms School, La Jolla Country Day School and La Jolla High School. Schwab has a B.A. from Scripps College, spent a business internship with S.A.I.C., Science Applications International Corporation, and earned a Masters of Business degree, M.B.A., from the University of San Diego by way of Claremont Graduate School . Schwab additionally took college courses from Harvard University, and Syracuse University. Schwab volunteers for numerous charity organizations. She also continues to support animal organizations and the prevention of people and animal abuse. Schwab is the editor and co-owner of The Social Diary.
