Nicole Miller & Mister B Fashion

It was a fashionable day at Mille Fleurs as Nicole Miller La Jolla, Mister B in the Ranch, Jennifer Buckley hat designs and Martin Katz over the top jewelry were modeled. The Social Diary had a lot of fun being in the mix including Kima who modeled Jemima Dutra designs.

Among those there were Lola Walters, Daran Grimm, Dusti Rittgers, Karian Forsyth, she wore killer patent leather gloves with her ensemble, Linda Swortwood, Julien Hug, he modeled, Judy Ferrero, Corky Mizner, pretty Rocio Bernal Flynn who is a new 'mama' to a rescue pit-bull mix puppy, and Denise Hug who was kind enough to help on photos.

Special thanks to Maggie Bobileff of Mister B and Stephanie Lyon of Nicole Miller La Jolla for having us model their beautiful clothing for them..... we've been longtime fans... they are the best!

Also thank you Chef Martin Woesle and Denise Hug for an incredilbe lunch topped of by oeufs à la neige!!

The Buzz

Renovation work is progressing nicely on the old Manchester seaside estate as new owners Darwin Deason and Katerina Panos, she's the Greek beauty you are sure to spy from time to time about La Jolla, are settled in part time on their 205 foot yacht Apogee docked at the Kona Kai Club.

Life is good... maybe they'll park their yacht by neighbor John Barbey's in La Jolla Cove during the summertime....

Meanwhile certain other La Jollans have had a rockin' good time over in the Mediterranean.... can we say BBC!!

In other news the unstoppable Tanya Brandes is on a medical / educational mission in faraway countries for the Brandes Foundation. Something she enjoys doing as a medical doctor... giving back... it's the key!

* Margo Schwab, more formally known as Margaret E. Schwab, has produced, written, interviewed and photographed for various media organizations since 1989. Schwab attended Holton Arms School, La Jolla Country Day School and La Jolla High School. Schwab has a B.A. from Scripps College, spent a business internship with S.A.I.C., Science Applications International Corporation, and earned a Masters of Business degree, M.B.A., from the University of San Diego by way of Claremont Graduate School . Schwab additionally took college courses from Harvard University, and Syracuse University. Schwab volunteers for numerous charity organizations. She also continues to support animal organizations and the prevention of people and animal abuse. Schwab is the editor of The Social Diary.
