La Jolla Playhouse Does Brunch Hollywood Style

The La Jolla Playhouse Center Stage Club raises significant funds and awareness for the La Jolla Playhouse and its educational outreach programs. The Center Stage Club does this through various fundraisers including its now annual Brunch with Hollywood.

The hosts, Mary K. and Ross Gilbert set the stage with their magnificent home way up high on an ocean front bluff in Solana Beach.

Guests gathering enjoyed a Hyatt Regency La Jolla brunch and the fabulous insights of Hollywood legends Ed Friendly, Joe Harper, Bernard Slade, Burt Bacharach and the Playhouse's own Des McAnuff.

Des has produced such cool films as The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle and Cousin Bette. Des is also responsible for a multitude of award winning plays including Tommy, Rent, How to Succeed at Business and much much more!
