The Jewel Ball 2002 was organized as brilliantly as California Sunshine by Chairwoman Jackie Helm, Co-Chairwomen Anseth Richards and Cindy Rushing, and the organizing group, Las Patronas women led by Las Patronas President Susanna Lipe. The theme was "Color It California" and it wasn't just elegant fun, filled with beautiful begowned women and smartly tuxedo dressed gentleman. It was an event with a recipe of hard work and generosity by Las Patronas women, paying guests and volunteers. The result? California Gold, big $$$ support for very worthy causes!

"Thank you for the kind words and the Great Coverage. I especially appreciate you mentioning our beneficiaries since that is what we are about. We are all so tired by the time of the Ball, that we love to see pictures. It makes appreciate how neat it if for those seeing it for the first time and seeing people have a good time" Sharman Dye... 2003 Jewel Ball Chair regarding coverage of the 2002 Jewel Ball
