Baywatch's
Michael Bergin * A Celebrity Exclusive
Articulate,
polite and
gorgeous,
male model Michael Bergin has
made quite a splash on the set of Baywatch.
Michael plays "J.D.", one of the hunky lifeguards
on the show. Not a far stretch for Michael who
spent three years as the Calvin Klein underwear
model as well as a very much in demand model
worldwide.
Raised
in Connecticut, Michael took his chiseled good
looks to New York to model years back and landed
big on the runways. His career really started
happening when he landed the Calvin Klein underwear
campaign and consequently a huge Calvin Klein
billboard in Times Square. He added VH1 television
host and the Liz Claiborne Men's spokesperson
to his list of credentials along the way. With
out of this world looks, Michael is still down
to earth.
Michael
chuckles when he recounts sweating through three
different interviews to get on board Baywatch.
According to Michael, interview number three
was quite tough in front of the show's producers.
Two hours of swimming drills and script readings!
After
checking his messages hours later, Michael discovered
he had the Baywatch job. The first person he
rang was his sister Tina who was incredulous
about her brother's new job.
About
Michael and his private life, well he's very
private yet polite. Michael did date Carolyn
Bessette before she married J.F.K. Jr. However
Michael is mum on the past relationship except
to say that Carolyn was a very nice person.
Michael
is keeping his fine form and attitude in line
with living and filming in Hawaii for Baywatch
Hawaii. His private life he keeps wisely to
himself.
