chemistry as being a big factor in their playing achievements.

for the pressure. I think we have the experience. I think we can
go all the way this year. We have a good team."
And Mike and Bryan are familiar with the
La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club from years back.
Bob Bryan: "In high school we played
the Pacific Coast Doubles. When we were at Stanford, we came down
here to play the doubles championships." (Editor's note:

Tennis Club)
James Blake added his comments about the
Davis Cup competition itself.
"Every time I get to (sic "a" ) chance to play
Davis Cup, it's one of the most exciting things in my life, and
really enjoyable. So I'm going to try to enjoy this. What's to
come, I can't tell you. If I could."
Andy Roddick interjects "You'd
be Miss Cleo."
James Blake replies "No, I wouldn't, she was kind of fake."
The Romanian Davis Cup Team then
answered questions.
Regarding the order of the draw. Captain
Segarceanu answered "Yes. I'm
satisfied with this. I mean, I was hoping Andrei will play first.
Because Andrei is more experienced."
Victor Hanescu remarking on a past match
with James Blake in New Haven.."Was a tough match, three
sets. I think I learned something from that match. Now I am prepared
for tomorrow."
Andrei Pavel commenting on playing against
Andy Roddick and James Blake "I mean, you know, Andy is No.
3 in the world. James had a pretty good year last year. He started
this year very good, too. I beat them both. I lost to both, as
well.
I hope tomorrow I going to start the Davis
Cup well, and I hope I bring the first point for our team and
maybe make it 1-0 instead of 0-1. Of course, Andy is amazing player,
so we'll see what happen tomorrow."
