On August 20th, 2011 about 200 well behaved dogs were accompanied by their pet owners for the San Diego Humane Society's Annual Fur Ball. This year's theme, Dancing With The Dogs did not disappoint.

550 people helped bring in $250,000 for this year's event. Among the kind animal loving folk were Martha and George Gafford, Julie and Dale Yahnke, Celebrity Guest Megan Blake and her husband Kim Swartz, Karen and Don Cohn with their Standard Poodle Max, Melissa and Michael Bartell, Valerie Summers, and Ingrid Hibbens.

The PETCO Foundation was honored, Jim Lennox of Pacific Events produced the event, and Jeffrey Strauss was once again the event's caterer. Jeffrey also donated a dinner party.

Haute Chile provided the dance inspiring tunes.
