December Birthdays' Lunch

It was a Sagittarius birthdays' luncheon hosted by the 'A-May'-Zing' May Zawaideh on December 21st, 2010. The location was the very smart address, the Del Mar Country Club.

Guests came in holiday spirit to celebrate the 'Sagittarius 39 Club,' ie. the forever 39 gals Valerie Cooper, Jeanne Larson and Linda Rocco.

Guests there first enjoyed a champagne reception, holiday music by violinist James Zagami (he was superb), and mingling among friends.

The guest list included Denise Hug, Terri Kelly, Jane Bitar (she's May's sister), Lynda Kerr, newlywed Jan Kerr, Patty Elkus (of SeaKeepers), Lena Evans, THE SOCIAL DIARY Magazine's Margo Schwab, Susan McClellan, Ellise Coit, and Lily Coury. Muffy Walker was unable to attend.

All gal 'rain dears' arrived through a torrential rainstorm and were quickly transformed into 'reindeers' as May handed out light up antlers for all to wear.

A lot of toasting, an incredible luncheon in the private dining room, photos and fun! A special touch also were the embroidered linen napkins with such quips as 'Dear Santa, I can explain!'

Happy Birthday to Valerie, Linda and Jeanne... 39 Forever!.... Beautiful party May!

Schwab attended Holton Arms School, La Jolla Country Day School and La Jolla High School. Schwab has a B.A. from Scripps College, spent a business internship with S.A.I.C., Science Applications International Corporation, and earned a Masters of Business degree, M.B.A., from the University of San Diego by way of Claremont Graduate School . Schwab additionally took college courses from Harvard University, and Syracuse University. Schwab volunteers for numerous charity organizations.
