Dorvillier's Host Bishop's School Pre-Event Party
The evening of February 25th, 2011 Kelly and Mike Dorvillier hosted a very fun reception at their La Jolla home. Guests were asked to bring a 90 plus point wine as a donation to be auctioned off for the big Bishop's School fundraiser on April 16th, 2011. Big it will be. Aside from a wine auction and dinner, there will be a private concert and dancing to the one and only Foreigner. For this pre-event evening, the focus was collecting wine donations, and enjoying great cuisine by Giuseppe's Fine Catering, Cucina Urbana, Elegant Events and The Fish Market among others. Among those there were Florinda and Fernando Aguerre, Susie Barbey Booth, Cecilia and Santiago Aguerre, Paul Jacobs, Heather and Stuart Collingson, and Michael Spengler solo. Michael's wife Jennifer Roe Spengler was unfortunately home sick. 'Sick' of a different kind were some very cool cars. Down in the Dorvillier's garage were some very beautiful cars from the 50's -ish era. The garage was complete with gas pumps, petrol neon signs, and some very gourmet pigs in a blanket served up. Funds raised by this event and the gala will benefit the School's Financial Aid and Faculty Professional Growth Programs. The 2011 Auction Co-chairs are Patricia Brutten, Donna Walker and Maureen Gibbons.
